A conversation, a few words of encouragement, or simply knowing someone is there can make a lasting difference — especially when distance, busy schedules, and life’s challenges make staying involved difficult.
Stay Connected Plus helps Inside Community Members and the people in their lives communicate more easily, share everyday moments, and remain part of one another’s journey.
Whether you’re helping someone stay connected, reconnecting with someone you know, or hoping to meet someone new, we make every step simpler and more personal.
Give someone an easier way to stay connected with the people who matter most. Help an inside member get started with their own Stay Connected Plus profile. They reach it by calling the shared access number.
Help someone get connectedPick up where you left off and stay involved in each other’s lives. Already have a family member, friend, or connection using Stay Connected Plus? Find their profile and continue your connection.

Browse our communityYour time together should be about your relationship—not a list of things that need to be looked up, explained, or handled. Stay Connected Plus gives incarcerated individuals the tools to communicate, find information, manage everyday tasks, and make more decisions for themselves. With greater independence on the inside and flexible ways to connect on the outside, families and friends can spend less time completing errands and more time talking, laughing, encouraging one another, and sharing everyday life.
A voice-first platform on the inside, a web hub on the outside, and one shared connection between them.
Family, friends, and supporters sign up for an Online Connection Hub account on the web. It costs nothing to create.
The Inside Community Member reaches their Voice Connection Hub from an ordinary facility telephone and speaks to it. Nothing to install, no keypad presses.
Exchange text and voice messages around each of your days, and speak with a real-time call when you are both free.
Almost everything here begins with a family member, a friend, or a supporter — someone on the outside who can open a web browser. You create a free Online Connection Hub account, and that account is your side of Stay Connected Plus: your messages, your conversations, and the people you are connected to, all in one place you can come back to.
The Inside Community Member’s side is completely different, and that difference is the thing worth understanding first. They do not sign in to a website. They reach their Voice Connection Hub from an ordinary facility telephone and speak to it — the Hub talks, and they answer out loud. There is nothing for them to install and no internet on their side.
Because an Inside Community Member cannot reach a sign-up page, getting them started is usually something a family member, friend, or supporter does for them. You create your own free account first, then set up their side from it: their Stay Connected Plus phone access, the SCPlus Member ID and four-digit PIN they will speak, and the public profile they control. Only a full name and DOC (or inmate) number are needed to begin — the rest can be filled in later, by you or by them.
If the person you want to reach is already set up, none of that applies to you. You create your free account and connect to them.
They already have a Voice Connection Hub. You just need an account.
Someone on the outside sets things up, because they can reach the web and their loved one cannot.
We built Stay Connected Plus because staying connected should not be one of the hardest parts of incarceration.
We lead with people, not products. Every feature exists to help you stay present in someone’s life.
You stay in control of what you share. Private contact details and communication stay protected.
An Inside Community Member can have a public profile they control — their interests, their goals, what they are working toward — so they are someone people can get to know.
Every profile is designed to introduce the person behind it — their interests, goals, and the kinds of connections they hope to build.
Stay Connected Plus exists so that being apart does not have to mean being out of each other’s lives.
